Join us for leadership training!

This year will the 2nd Leadership Development Workshop at the FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. We invite all active young pharmacists with an interest in taking up future leadership roles on the YPG Steering Committee or in being involved with local or national YPG leadership to attend this session.

Those who are active in their local YPG and/or previously active with the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation and looking to explore further leadership involvement with FIP are highly encouraged to attend. Place numbers will be limited to ensure a high-quality, personal event, and applications must be made beforehand, to the YPG Steering Committee, to ensure all participants fulfil the criteria.

The criteria include YPG membership eligibility, FIP individual membership, previous extra-curricular involvement and 200 words on why you would like to attend this session, including if you plan to run for YPG elections this year.

All participants will be presented with a Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the workshop.

Learning Objectives

After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the structure and projects of FIP
  2. Differentiate current YPG projects as they relate to FIP
  3. Demonstrate soft skills and practical skills in leadership and management
  4. Collaborate, through networking opportunities, with active YPG leaders from across the world
  5. Produce ideas for future strategic planning of the FIP YPG.
